School Rules – SSD International School
To maintain a safe, disciplined, and positive learning environment, all students of SSD International School are expected to follow the school rules with sincerity and responsibility.
1. Discipline & Conduct
- Students must be punctual and attend school regularly.
- Polite behavior, respect for teachers, staff, and fellow students is mandatory.
- Disobedience, misbehavior, bullying, or use of abusive language will not be tolerated.
- Students must follow instructions given by teachers and school authorities at all times.
2. School Uniform
- Wearing the prescribed school uniform neatly and with pride is compulsory.
- Students must maintain personal hygiene and a tidy appearance.
- Uniform should be worn properly during school hours, assemblies, and school functions.
3. Attendance & Leave
- A minimum attendance as prescribed by the school is required.
- Leave applications must be submitted in advance; in case of illness, a medical certificate may be required.
- Students arriving late without valid reasons may not be permitted to attend classes.
4. Academic Responsibility
- Students must complete classwork, homework, and assignments on time.
- Bringing required books, notebooks, and learning materials daily is compulsory.
- Cheating or unfair practices during examinations are strictly prohibited.
5. Respect for School Property
- Students must take care of school property, furniture, books, laboratories, and equipment.
- Any damage caused intentionally will be charged to the student concerned.
- Cleanliness must be maintained in classrooms, corridors, playgrounds, and washrooms.
6. Safety & Security
- Students must follow all safety instructions during school hours, activities, and transportation.
- Running, pushing, or unsafe behavior is not allowed.
- Use of sharp objects, harmful materials, or prohibited items is strictly forbidden.
7. Mobile Phones & Electronic Devices
- Mobile phones, smart watches, and electronic gadgets are not allowed unless permitted by the school.
- The school will not be responsible for loss or damage of personal belongings.
8. School Transport Rules
- Students using school transport must follow bus rules and respect the driver and helper.
- Discipline must be maintained while boarding, traveling, and alighting from the bus.
- Damage to the school bus will invite strict action.
9. Participation & Behavior
- Active participation in academic, sports, cultural, and co-curricular activities is encouraged.
- Students must uphold the values, dignity, and reputation of the school at all times, inside and outside the campus.
10. General Rules
- Students must attend morning assembly regularly and maintain silence and discipline.
- Parents are expected to cooperate with the school in enforcing rules and discipline.
- The school reserves the right to amend rules when necessary in the interest of students.
